Privacy Policy

This policy covers the automated audits on audit.relaycairn.com and the reports Relaycairn delivers by email. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

• The website URL you ask us to audit and your business name — entered at checkout. Required, because the product cannot be produced without them.
• Your email address — collected by Stripe at checkout. Used to deliver the report and to answer support or refund requests.
• Advertising attribution — if you arrived from an advert we store the campaign source, campaign name and the click identifier your ad platform appended (gclid, msclkid or fbclid), plus a random session identifier. This is kept in your browser's local storage and passed to Stripe as a reference on your order.

What we do not collect

• We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe.
• We do not run analytics trackers. The Google Ads site tag loads on our pages so that visits from Google adverts can be counted; purchase conversion events fire only on the confirmation page, only after Stripe confirms a completed payment.
• On that confirmation page, and only after Stripe confirms the payment, the purchase may also be reported to Microsoft Advertising (its UET tag) and to Meta (the Meta Pixel), with the amount, the currency and an order reference, so that adverts on those services can be counted. Our video pages send no viewing data.
• We do not buy, sell, rent or share your data with third parties.

Why we are allowed to hold it

The website URL, business name and email are processed to perform the contract you entered when you bought the audit. Attribution data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest — understanding which adverts produce customers — and is never used to build a profile of you.

Who else processes it

• Stripe — payment processing and checkout.
• Google — the report includes a live PageSpeed Insights measurement of the URL you supply.
• Netlify — serves this website.
• Google Workspace — delivers the report email.
• Anthropic — its AI model researches publicly available information about your site and business (by web search) and writes the report from that research and the PageSpeed measurement. Report content is not used to train models.

How long we keep it

Order and report records are retained for 7 years, because they are financial records. Attribution data is retained for 24 months. Local storage in your own browser can be cleared by you at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your data, tell you what we hold, or correct it. Email julien@relaycairn.com and it will be actioned. We do not require you to prove identity beyond replying from the address that placed the order. Financial records we are legally required to keep are the one exception, and we will tell you if that applies.

Children

This is a business-to-business product and is not directed at anyone under 18.
